         NBC FILTER CANISTER TYPE 80

 The Type 80 filter canister was developed for the  Defense Forces (DF) to provide protection against most known NBC agents in the form of vapours or aerosols. It is supplied as an integral part of all of Shalon's personal respiratory protection systems.

ATROMAT - ATROPINE AUTOMATIC INJECTOR

 

 The Atromat Automatic Injector is a lightweight, compact and reliable injector for quick and painless intramuscular self-injection of atropine solution at the first indication of nerve gas poisoning. The Atromat consists of two plastic tubes, one sliding within the other to activate its injection mechanism. The outer tube contains a yellow safety cap to prevent misfiring, while the inner tube contains a stainless steel cartridge with the sterile atropine solution and needle, as well as the firing mechanism. The Atromat is supplied in a single-pull snap-open transparent packaging.

                                                                   DP-2DECONTAMINATIONPOWDER

 Shalon's DP-2 decontamination powder is intended for the decontamination of the skin and personal equipment from liquid NBC agents. DP-2 is a homogeneous finely ground powder with a vast suface area, making it an extremely effective adsorbant. It is supplied in a plastic dispenser specially suited for quick and easy application.

M-48 GAS-PARTICULATE
FILTER - 100 CFM

The M48 Gas-Particulate filter was designed by the U.S. Army for the NBC protective system of the Abrams A1M1 tank. It is a compact, lightweight, radial flow filter with a nominal flow of 100 CFM (2830 It/min) constructed from aluminum alloy and coated with a special chemical resistant paint. Each M48 filter is packed in a hermetically sealed metal can ensuring a shelf-life of at least 5 years.

IN EYE PROTECTION

INPRO - INFANT PROTECTOR

 The Inpro Infant Protector is a positive-pressure system designed and developed by the Defense Forces to protect newborn infants up to 3 years of age, from most known NBC agents. It affords protection for extended periods, while assuring maximum comfort and allowing normal activity for the infant (eating, lying down, walking, playing), and for the parents (carrying the infant, feeding, diapering and comforting with pacifier).

RESPRO - PROTECTIVE HOOD FOR CHILDREN

 The Respro is a positive-pressure protective hood system designed and developed by Shalon and the  Defense Forces to protect children aged 2 to 8 years, from most known NBC agents. It is specially designed for optimal comfort and safety, assuring extended use with minimal interference in normal activities.

NBC CIVILIAN RESPIRATORS

 Range of NBC respirators for civil defense is designed to protect the eyes, face and respiratory tract of adults and children over the age of 8 years, from most known NBC agents. Shalon civilian respirators are the standard approved NBC respirators of the Israeli Civil Defense Authorities.
